Caution - Stairs Abound

The 2nd floor is reached by ascending 22 steps. Note that there's no elevator in the building.

Also, in Freja Hall - where the ceremony, dinner, and reception will be - there's a balcony which is accesible by more stairs. During dinner some guests will be seated upstairs. While we're planning on seating all children on the main floor, please supervise them at all times.

Swedish American Hall

2174 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94114

Both our ceremony and reception will take place on the 2nd floor of the Swedish American Hall, which celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2000. (Learn more about the history of this hall.)

We'll start in Freja Hall for our ceremony and then retire to Balder Hall for a cocktail hour while Freja Hall is transformed for dinner.

Restrooms are located on both the 2nd floor as well as the 1st. Please use the restrooms on the 2nd floor until after the ceremony as the wedding party will be getting ready on the first floor.

Parking

Street parking in the neighborhood is generally available, but can be limited. If driving, please carpool.

We have secured a lot with a limited number of spaces for the use of our rabbi, wedding coordinator, wedding party, and setup crewe.

Bicycle Parking

There's one MTA bike rack available (between Lucky 13 and the Swedish American Hall). Parking meters and a sign or two abound so you should be able to safely lock up your bike.
