Frequently Asked Questions
1. May we take photos during the ceremony?
Our Rabbi has asked that everyone remember this is a solemn occassion and to save the photos for the reception.
NOTE: Flash photography is not allowed during the ceremony. Please turn off the flash on your camera.
We have hired a professional photographer who will be taking photos of the ceremony. She will be posting a gallery for everyone's viewing pleasure after the wedding.
If you'd like to take photos during the ceremony, be courteous. Do so from your seat and do not block another guest or disturb the ceremony.
2a. For the guest book, do my recipes need to be dairy-free or refined sugar-free?
No. Please share recipes you love regardless of whether or not they include dairy or refined sugars.
2b. For the guest book, do my recipes need to be original?
No. If your favorite recipe is from a cookbook that's ok! All we care about is if you love the recipe. Do you? Yes? Then please share.
2c. For the guest book, do I have to limit myself to one recipe?
No. If you have more than one favorite recipe, feel free to share them all. Our guest book has over 400 pages.
2d. For the guest book, I don't cook. How can I contribute?
Share the name of your favorite restaurant and tell us what to order. If you've snapped a photo of your favorite meal share that too. Be creative!
2e. For the guest book, I'm unable to attend but still want to share a recipe. How can I contribute?
We'd love to include your recipe. Please send your recipe to us via email or mail and we'll add it.
